How to Play Portal Pong

Portal Pong is played just like regular beer pong with one exception. Each team has a cup that acts a teleportation portal.

  1. Choose a team to go first
  2. First team shoots the ping pong balls.
  3. If they they miss it is the other teams turn.
  4. In the event they sink a ball into a cup the opposing team must drink the beer in the cup and remove it from play.
  5. If they sink a ball into the portal cup the opposing team must drink the contents of the cup, refill it and place it back in the triangle. The teams must also switch sides.

By adding the portal cup players can choose to aim for it if they are losing to switch sides. The portal is also often hit by mistake, which makes for some funny moments when the winning team is forced to give up their lead. Because the portal is refilled and added back after every shot it can be hit multiple times in a game. The best rounds of Portal Pong have players switching 3-5 times in a single game!!

As always remember to cut yourself off before becoming too intoxicated. Do not drink and drive.
