How to play Horse beer pong drinking game

Horse is a Beer Pong variation of the popular basketball game of the same name.  The basketball version of this game is played in elementary schools across the continent. The idea of the game is to try and score trick shots that your competitors would be UNABLE to make. Balls will fly across the room in all directions but eventually all players will start to get quite good at landing creative trick shots. The instructions are very easy to follow, so feel free to add some rules of your own.

Players: 2-5+

Gear

Setup

Arrange cups into a triangle (4 cups, 3 cups, 2 cups, 1 cup) at the far end of the table.

Game Play

  1.  The person who is the oldest goes first, followed by next oldest and so on.
  2. Player one will attempt to get a specific trick shot into the cups at the end of the table. For example player one can choose behind the back, bounce off roof, head butt, they are only limited by their imagination.
  3. If player one misses it is the next player’s turn however if they sink the trick shot all other players must do the SAME trick. Any player who is unable to make the trick shot will receive a letter in the word H-O-R-S-E.
  4. Once players have all 5 letters they spell HORSE and they are removed from the game.
  5. The last player standing wins!

There is definitely a strategy to this game. The harder the trick shot you are able to sink, the bigger the lead you will take on your opponents. Because of this you will want to get creative. Just make sure you don’t waste too many turns going for outrageous shots you will never make.
